 The majestic Southern Alps
of New Zealand hold some of the world's finest Big Game
Animals for
hunting and trophy hunting. We offer some of the best free range
hunting Safaris on exclusive private land both "Free
Range" & Game Ranch hunts where record book trophies are
regularly taken. We can arrange your South Pacific hunting
vacation for you or the entire family throughout New Zealand as
well as Australia & New Caledonia.
 New Zealand Four Seasons Safaris offer you
and your partner hunting year round where the main hunting period
is from March September during the "Rutt". This is when
you will get to experience a higher degree of trophy quality as
the big boys are out with the girls!. All animals have their dark
heavy winter capes during this time. We guide not only for rifle
hunters, we also specialise in bowhunters & muzzle loader
enthusiasts as well as Photographic Safaris.
Hunting in New Zealand's South Island you will experience some of
the most stunning scenery. Open rolling to steep hills with
native timber and scrub cover to the snow covered peaks of the
Southern Alps. This is the habitat for the South Pacific big game
animals and this is available for hunters the world over to
enjoy.
 Hunting New Zealand can be challenging and
conditions can be harsh at times, so the fitter you are the more
enjoyment & rewarding it will be. Our Safaris are conducted
with the use of 4 X 4 vehicles as well as jet boat and helicopter
access, with the stalking of animals by foot.
We will also look after non-hunting partners if they wish to join
us out on the hunt, or we can arrange a multiitude of acivities
or adventure for all to enjoy.
ACCOMMODATION
New Zealand Four Seasons Safaris offers hunting and fishing clients with a range of accommodation options. From spike camps/tents on the banks of a mountain stream, to camping out on top of the world with a blanket of bright stars overhead, through to back country comfortable cabins and ranch style farmstays and our very own exclusive luxury Sportsmens Lodge Hunter Downs, located in the heart of hunting and fishing, jet boating, skiing and other outdoor pursuits.
